About Pickersgill Retirement Community

Pickersgill Retirement Community is known for its rich traditions and comfortable accommodations. Today our nonprofit retirement community offers seniors a comfortable retirement lifestyle with a variety of independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing care accommodations, including brand new assisted living rooms and suites.

Founded in 1802, Pickersgill Retirement Community is named after one of its early board presidents, Mary Pickersgill, the seamstress who sewed the flag that flew over Fort McHenry during the War of 1812 that inspired Frances Scott Key to write "The Star-Spangled Banner."
